Xcelerate E/E System Development as Part of a Multi-domain Digital Thread for Product Development
Traditional E/E design is silo'd into separate organizations, internal, or OEM/Supplier, who are responsible for their own products. These products are often dependent on each other and there is little to no communication between those organizations which can lead to expensive redesign efforts. OEMs are looking to vertically integrate and shift left into a model based appoach to engineering. Capital provides a single, platform level architecture environment that bridges the gap between all E/E and adjacent disciplines (system modelling, PCB, software/networks, electrical and mechanical) or orchestrated through PLM (Teamcenter).

Across Domains and With PLM
Many industries are focusing on the digital thread between engineering domains and the PLM. This becomes even more essential with accelerating design cycles and industry challenges such as supply chain resilience. Effective and secure management of design data during the development phase. Traceability, managed IP reuse and a seamless integration with the PLM are becoming critical, while engineering needs a maximum of agility during the development process. During this session we describe, how Siemens is supporting the digital transformation of enterprises with an integrated solution between engineering and the PLM.
